The Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the death of three police officers after an attack on the divisional police station in Adani, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The incident was confirmed by Daniel Ndukwe, the spokesperson of the state police command who said that the attack on the police station occurred in the early hours of today Wednesday, April 21.
He said; “Yes, there is a report of an attack on Adani Divisional Police station this early morning. However, the details of the incident are still sketchy.”
Residents of the community say the hoodlums began the attack at about 2.30 am and did not stop until 3.30 am.
