TWITTER BAN:  Davido, Wizkid react to FG’s suspension of social media platform

The pair of Nigerian singers, David Adeleke aka Davido and Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid have both separately reacted to the suspension of Twitter operations in Nigeria by the Federal Government.

Davido had earlier shared tweets about Nigeria and how it used to be a country as he lamented the situation but shortly after he took his Instagram page to claim that he could no longer use Twitter after he made the post.

According to him, the application stopped working on his end after he posted those tweets.

 “Yo my Twitter stopped working after that tweet!! WTF E don be,” Davido wrote.

Also, Grammy winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid also reacted to the Twitter ban in the country on his social media page after it dawned on him that the operations of the social media platform had been suspended in Nigeria.

The singer who took to his Instagram story to react to the development asked rhetorically if that is how things would now operate in the proposed United Africa Republic (UAR).

“UAR…na so the ting go dey sup?” Wizkid asked…
