Popular American Grammy Award-winning R&B legend, Alicia Keys has described the latest album of Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid titled ‘Made In Lagos’ as pure fire.
The singer who is also married to popular music producer Swizz Beatz made the revelation when a fan had asked her if she had listened to Wizkid’s Made In Lagos during an #AskAlicia session.
In her response to the question, the sensational singer replied thus; “Absolutely! Pure Fire!”
Her comments came two months after the critically acclaimed album of the Nigerian superstar hit over 400 million streams across all known music streaming platforms.
On March 31, 2021, it was announced that the album released by Wizkid on October 30, 2020, to fanfare and celebration across the world had hit over 400 million streams across all platforms.
A breakdown of the number of streams on each of the relevant music streaming sites shows that the album had 124.19 million streams on Apple Music, 123.1 million streams on audiomack, 79.30 million streams on YouTube, 78.06 million streams on Spotify and 20.2 million streams on Boomplay.
