A dismissed Major General has been arrested by the Abia State Police Command for illegally dealing in firearms.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Ene Okon, announced this on Monday in Umuahia, adding the Major General, whose name has been withheld, is among the 10 people that have been arrested in the state for allegedly dealing in firearms.
Okon further revealed thatthe army general was arrested last week with some firearms in Aba, the commercial hub of the state.
