Erica Herman, the estranged ex-girlfriend of popular golfer Tiger Woods has slammed him with a $30 million lawsuit (£25 million) in damages due to “severe” emotional harm.

In the lawsuit, Herman is claiming that Tiger Woods tricked her into leaving and then prevented her from entering the Florida mansion they had shared for six years.

In new documents obtained by TMZ, she claimed Tiger’s staff convinced her to pack for a ‘short vacation’ without the golfer last autumn but, after driving her to the airport, she was told she had been ‘locked out’ and wasn’t allowed back to the house.

In a related development, lawyers acting for Herman are seeking to render a contract she signed at the beginning of her relationship with the pro-golfer in 2017 invalid, citing a new law that permits NDAs to be cancelled in cases of sexual assault.

The former restaurant manager’s civil lawsuit, filed in Martin County, Florida, does not refer to allegations of harassment or assault. The pair are believed to have split late last year.
